On Tuesday afternoon, we drove the road up to the top of Haleakala. It's the Highest elevation point on Maui at 10,023ft above sea level. It's also a dormant volcano. The landscape up there is fascinating...made even more so by the fact that we were above the clouds looking down at the top of them.
