Wow! I didn’t realize I’d let so much time go by since the last time I posted anything. The last update was about my new summer theme and here it is already fall. I am still alive however.

Let’s see…what have I been up to? Well in terms of art or photography (which is what most of my posts are about) I’ve got a few new paintings that I did using ArtRage. In terms of my photography, well, I haven’t been doing all that much. I did, however, take a vacation a couple of weeks back and went up to Arkansas for a few days. I hope to get around to sorting through all those photos sometime soon. (I’m crossing my fingers.) I will post the results when I get them sorted.

I’ve had a widescreen monitor at work now for almost a year. A while back I discovered something that I’ve had a lot of fun with. I found that with a bigger monitor, my windows desktop accumulated a lot of icons and I had no particular order for them. I never could find anything I needed. So, I decided to create a little order out of the chaos. Using Photoshop, I created a background for my desktop that had all the categories that I needed and a few additions as well. It provides a neat effect. Here’s the one I currently have on my machine…Click the image for a larger view.

Hi…Bear with me while I get everything sorted out.  I started out trying to use my hosting company’s version of this blogging software.  Big mistake.  I quickly found out that there was no customization available for that option, so I decided to install it myself.  It’s the same software but I have control over the themes and pictures and options, etc. I have no idea when I’ll get everything straightened out, but I’m working on it.
